The research deals with the neurodidactic strategies of mandalas and breathing exercises in university teaching, it is not strange in the pedagogical field to find cases in which boredom and monotony make the teaching and learning process tedious, which leads to difficulties in fix in memory the information presented or shared in the classrooms of the university; to maintain attention and motivation, they cause students to be dispersed, oblivious to what happens in the classroom, with negative consequences in the medium and long term due to the fact that academic goals are not adequately achieved. Through a mixed methodology, the research problem was studied with a quasi-experimental and phenomenological design with students of the third semester of the social work career of the University Center of San Marcos of the University of San Carlos of Guatemala, during the first semester. of the year 2020. With the general objective of describing the influence of the neurodidactic strategies of mandalas and breathing exercises on motivation in university teaching; For this, the best moment for its application was identified, the aforementioned strategies were used and it was analyzed if they help students to be motivated during class. It was established that the application of neuroscience in the classroom contributes to the teaching-learning process; A compendium of eight models for the application of neurodidactic exercises was elaborated to benefit university teaching.
