The relevance lies in the use of coconut shell as a substitute for non-renewable materials such as wood; considered as a waste; likewise, second-rate rice, which cause an environmental impact in rivers or clandestine dumps; Its importance was to analyze the adherence of rice (Oriza sativa) when mixed with coconut tow fiber (Cocus nucifera) in different proportions, evaluated in a biodegradable chipboard test tube. To verify this, the compaction index, the modulus of rupture and the moisture retention capacity were analyzed by three formulations of mixtures of coconut tow and rice flour. It was concluded that the resistance of the agglomerate when compacted decreases as the fiber increases, which goes from 2.467 to 1.77 Newton; by increasing the fiber content, the resistance to rupture increases from 0.075 to 0.125 Newton and behaves linearly; it also retains more moisture, increasing from 49.88 to 59.81%.
