This article aims to present the method of Selective Sentinel Node Biopsy in patients with breast cancer and the benefits of Indocyanine Green Tracer. Documentary type research has been carried out, considering as a basis scientific article from 2019 to 2023 in English and Spanish. It is a novel, accessible method. Axillary recurrence is 1%, which guarantees excellent regional control. The false negative rate is 6 to 8%. The detection rate with Indocyanine green is 97% and as a double tracer method 98%. axillary recurrence rate is 1%. It is concluded that the therapeutic approach of patients with breast cancer has improved, promoting conservative treatments that focus on the regional control of breast cancer, improving the quality of life of patients.
